How to Have The Midas Touch

How to Have The Midas TouchReal wealth is never built at your convenience. In other words, you have to do things that are inconvenient if you want to become wealthy. This is best understood with an analogy. Your car makes travel very convenient.

If you want to go somewhere, you get in your car and go there. But what if you want to go long distance, a trip that would take days in your car? Unless you want to enjoy the scenery along the way, the trip is just a time consuming waste. In that case you would normally fly.

Now this is where inconvenience kicks in. First you have to get to the airport at the required time (not at a time convenient for you) and check your baggage. Then you have to get through security. That’s never convenient.

When you arrive at the end of your flight you will still have to travel to your final destination. The only reason you use this relatively inconvenient method of travel is because you can go much faster and further. And so it is with personal wealth.

Your job is like your car. It’s convenient and serves an important purpose. But it has severe limitations when it comes to building your wealth. It just doesn’t cut it in the “long distance” wealth department and it never will.

Most people never ever wake up to this fact. They spend all their lives working hard but stuck in the slow lane. There are others who seem to get ahead much quicker.

They’re said to have “The Midas Touch” or something similar when all they’ve done is accepted a little inconvenience in order to reach their goals much sooner.
